Sprint Retrospective is an event of Scrum Framework where the Scrum team reviews what they did well from the previous sprint and if there are areas of improvement that they can do on the next sprint.
The following are the topics the team discusses during the Sprint Retrospective:
- What went well in the previous Sprint
- What could be improved
- What will we commit to improve in the next Sprint
The Meeting usually lasts up to 3 hours for a one-month sprint and the Scrum Master reminds the team to keep it in the time-box.
Sprint Retrospective usually takes place after the Sprint Review (see: What is a Sprint Review?) and then the Sprint Planning (see: What is a Sprint Planning?) for the next Sprint comes after.
What are Scrum Events?
